Today we celebrate and wish Dorothy a Happy 12th Birthday ! It is hard to believe that Dorothy is already 12 years old. It only seems like yesterday that we adopted her from Tiny Kittens via LAPS. We feel very fortunate and blessed to have Dorothy in our lives, and our other black panthers are proud to have her as part of their clowder. If you followed Dorothy’s journey on her facebook page, she overcame many obstacles to get to where she is today. She started her journey as a kitten named Smudge. She became pregnant and was kicked out of her owners home. She took refuge at the neighbor’s house, where the father of her kittens lived, Tubby the Maine Coon. She was rescued from Craigslist by her Guardian Angel, Shelly Roche. She was very ill to where her life and her unborn kittens lives were in danger. Dr Ferguson came to her rescue. She gave birth to 6 beautiful kittens, (Henry, Marvel, Munchin, Nikko, Ozzie, and Toto). She was adopted on February 6 2015 by Michelle and Terry Klimchuk. For the past 11 years we have enjoyed Dorothy’s journey. Here are some fun facts about Dorothy. Her nicknames are Hottie Dottie, Dorothy Porthy, Little Prancy Paws. She never eats her food from the floor. She has to be high up on the table, counter, windowsill, vanity, etc. She never sleeps close to any of the other cats. She loves her toy wand called the bird. Out of all the cats, she performs the zoomies better than them all. Dorothy, we all wish you a Happy 12th Birthday and look forward to watching you on your continued journey. Hugs and Kisses
