Dorothy has some sad news to tell to her facebook friends. It is with deep sadness and a heavy heart, we announce the passing of our beloved ELVIRA. Her time had come to cross over to Rainbow Bridge. She brought us all so much love and happiness for 11 years. In March of 2015 we adopted her from the Petsmart in Langley. Little did we know she was a very shy and timid cat. It took us nearly 2 years to gain her trust. If you got too close to her, she would run and hide. Usually under the bed. It took a lot of patience on our part to try and gain her trust. But when we finally did, it was well worth the wait. Out of all our cats, she was the runt or smallest of them all. She was always the first in line when ever I shook the treats jar. She hardly ever got into any kind of mischief. She grew to love the attention of being petted on her head or kissed on her cheek. I would always call her my sweet baby kitten, because she was so tiny. She loved to curl up on your legs while watching t.v. Her favorite places to sleep were inside the pirate ship and on the top of the couch on her long colorful pillow. She loved to chase the laser light and the bird wand. She even mastered the cat wheel. So now Elvira has gone to Rainbow Bridge, to be reunited with her siblings Omar, Maggie, Darla, and our 2 birds Ozzie and Harriet. She is now free from her pain and will run and play freely until we meet again. We will always cherish the time we spent with her, and the joy she brought to our hearts. Elvira, you will be deeply missed by Michelle and I, and by your clowder of siblings.Rest in peace my sweet baby kitten. We will love you always. Michelle and I would like to give our deepest appreciation to the medical staff at Boundary Bay. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts for the way you cared for Elvira. God Bless.
